An informative and inclusive session all about periods.
Created in collaboration with medical experts, Periods 101 discusses period basics, different products available and how to tackle period stigma. The session will also include information on hormones, the menstrual cycle and common period myths. Demo products will be available for participants to look at and feel.
About the Presenter
The Period Purse (TPP) is Canada’s first registered charity dedicated to tackling period poverty. Headquartered in Toronto, TPP strives to create menstrual equity by ensuring sustainable access to period products for all and by ending the stigma associated with periods through education and advocacy.
