Queer Craft Circle: Collage and Memoir
with Ellie Anglin
Thursday, November 26
6:00pm - 8:00pm
Queen's Square
Studio2SLGBTQIA+-identifying individuals are invited to explore a different creative project each month in a fun and safe space.
Join artist and author Ellie Anglin for a relaxed, queer-centered evening of making, writing, and sharing.
In this Queer Craft Circle, we’ll explore collage as a way of reflecting on memory, identity, and personal experience. Through creative prompts, we’ll combine images, words, and fragments of text to create small works inspired by our own stories and experiences. No previous art or writing experience is required, and you don’t need to consider yourself an “artist” or “writer” to participate. Come experiment, make something, chat, and spend time in community with other queer and 2SLGBTQIA+ folks.
All materials and creative prompts will be provided.
This program is offered in partnership with SPECTRUM, Waterloo Region's Rainbow Community Space.

Located in the heart of downtown Galt, Queen’s Square features the largest public library collection in the city as well as the main gallery and studio space for the Cambridge Art Galleries. After exploring the Gallery, relax with a book in the multiple study and reading areas, discover the large children’s department, or take in a special musical performance on the grand piano.
Cambridge Public Library supports and inspires its community to explore reading, the arts, innovation, and lifelong learning across five locations and online.
